if the marans are davis/wade lines, shouldn't it be more than 70% leg feathering?

These were The lines I was told they were when I purchased then orignally 4 yrs ago. I used to hatch with less leg feathering orignally and over the year of culling more do hatch with feathered legs. Marans have both reciessive and dominate feather leg genes. 1 splash hen in the group has no feather legs. I am being honest. I have bought eggs from people who have said they all have feathered legs and only 20% hatch out with them so I wanted to tell you rather then you being upset like I have been about my hatches.

just wondering...I have hatched marans, from unknown lines and have never gotten clean legged....coming from wade/davis 70% just seemed odd.
