Pekin Rouen mix?

Does anyone know what you end up with when you mix a Rouen drake with a Pekin duck? Do they look like one or the other or a mix? Does anyone have pictures? I have pure Rouen eggs and mixed eggs in the bator and wonder if i'll know the difference since the same drake fertilized all of them.

Ok, I know this is late but I think i've got a rouen cross now to.

A few weeks before we got the egg we had three drakes, a pekin drake, a muscovy pekin drake, and a khaki drake. I'm curious to know wich one she/he is most likely to be a cross of. We have a rouen hen, two khaki hens, and one pekin hen.

I have a pekin hen & rouen drake and I hatched 9 eggs in my incubator. They look more like rouens with wierd white striping around the neck (developing/showing later in the drakes) and all have wierd white feathers around the colored rouen wing feathers. The weird white feathering is how I find my one full-rouen hen as she doesn't have those white feathers. I call them wierd because they look out of place/different coloring - they're not really wierd as in sticking out funny or anything. You can't tell which are female or male by looking at them until about 3 months old when the drake green head coloring shows up. The babies are substantially bigger than the rouen dad @ 3 months but smaller than the Pekin hen (but not by much.) The females are really loud like the Pekin (maybe even louder?) I don't have any closeup pictures, sorry.

The duck in the middle (above) is a rouen/pekin mix. She has beautiful white on her wings and is black, has some green sheen to her and a few spots of rouen colour too...it's very strange but she's quite sweet

16 weeks old now. Pretty sure it's a drake.

All the ducks are getting along, although they have a tendency to break into their constituent mobs. The mix here seems to be the leader of the Rouens.

These are my Rouen pekin mixed ducklings that just hatched. I also have a pair of white call ducks in with them but I have never seen them breed.
I believe 1/2 of them have a Rouen mom and a pekin dad, while the other 1/2 have a pekin mom and a Rouen dad.

Maybe that’s the reason - he hatched mid December last year. So he is 8 month old now. He is mating his two hens since approximately April-May. The enclosed picture was taken in the spring.

That could be it then. Some males aren't fertile until their a little older.

This is an old thread but I wanted to share my Rouen Pekin mix ducklings. They are about 4 weeks old. Most of mine are black and white, one of them looks kind of like a black Swedish. 2 of them have Rouen coloring mixed with white.

My hen is a Pekin and the drake is a Rouen. I have some more hatching today, so far most of them are black and white too.
