Pet store regects

So these two birds were no longer deemed cute by the pet store so I took them home. Anybody know what breed the white one is? I was told the brown one was an English bantam. The brown one holds her tail feathers like a male but the white one has the red waddles. I’m totally confused but I didn’t want them trashed at the pet store anymore, any clues anybody? Around 10 weeks

Brown is female, the white is male. Probably bantams. Harder to figure out breed, depends on their source

I think you are correct, I was hoping the red pyle was a female but maybe I can get some fertilized eggs before I have to send the rooster away since I can’t have one in the city.

Why is a pet store keeping bantam chickens for? They are pets but need to live outside.

They sell chickens as little chicks, but once the chicks get not so cute i.e. get their feathers in, nobody will buy them.

We in Honolulu don’t have farm stores and barely have feed stores. The pet stores sell our chickens for the majority. Just an fyi.
