Thanks, I had some advantage with the "other poultry" calendar since they were looking for a wide selection of "poultry" and not many people keep swans. Of course the swans would be quite indignant about being called poultry.

Got the hens and ducks some presents today. Went to one shop which had that small insect mix in for £6 and then I went to another which had the much bigger one in for £6 and also has way more in too! Also got the ducks a little bath for £3 as their little stream is blocked up with leaves and I haven't had chance to empty it and don't see the point till the trees finished!

They aren't the ex battery girls!!

Everyone keeps saying that! PL is the top hen who is an ex batt but I've had her for 5 years. She got really bad mating damage and hasn't moulted yet. Jenny is moulting

How are the new girls doing? I need a before and after shot-.post 862 and 885, they still have come a long way.

Yep, one boy in particular, but I rehomed him. They're doing great! They're propper pigs! They still get picked on a bit, but im feeding them separate from the others. But I also have to feed them apart because Rosie bullies Tina! They're also very tame now. I'm trying to avoid posting pics of them because as you say, I want to do a before and after pic without people getting to see their progress!
