That did not narrow it down much did it?
1, because it is a good color and cuteness.
2, because it is all cuteness and could be cropped for the proper format
4, is bucolic and gives me that all is well in the world feeling.
5, works only if it gets cropped with the structure in it.
7,I like better than 4, but he view might change when cropped. The fence, horizon and part of the clouds need to remain.


Edit to add: I was searching for the above posts photo when I saw someone else already found it.
I really like the above photo! if they could use it in that format and have white blocks on the side, it would be perfect.

This one has a lot of good design elements in it that keeps the eye moving and yet is still balanced. it could still be cropped from the bottom up without losing what makes it work so well.

It also shows the hen duckling bond well.

My favorite for the calendar could depend partly on your camera's resolution and the potential to be cropped for typical calendar format. If you don't have a really high res camera, I think I like 1 because if is an adorable close up and 4 because of the scenery.


I also especially like the top one 3goodeggs picked because of the composition lighting and pose. But I think it would need to be cropped which could put it under the required pixels if it is not high resolution.

Feel like the others aren't good enough quality and have Bella in. Also, the one 3goodeggs posted with baby on Bella's back shows that Bella exploded on the wall at the back haha!

I think they would allow a picture of a chicken along with a duck in the foreground. I personally think the a photo of a mother chicken and duckling adds some variety to the calendar, and you could flag your entry to ask the moderator if including a chicken is allowable ( that is if you decide you want to enter one with Bella.) When so many photos are entered, uniqueness does increase the chances of a submission.

Hmm will have to see what I have of Bella and baby. I just don't have much hope for the one suggested as its quality isn't all that great and I don't think its a good pic anyways :/
