Picture thread of my hens!

Well I'm glad PL remained the top hen. She is gorgeous and I'm so happy she didn't try to fight with the new hens. Bless your heart for saving them. With the fresh country air and good food they will be healthy happy hens in no time. Is that Pl's name or is it intials for her name? Now you have two more chickens to name.

Have a great day and thanks for sharing your pics with us.
Thanks. They're called Alice and Tilly. PL is initials. I named her years ago and I'm embarrassed by her name now haha

Thanks for giving them a good home!!
:)

Mabel, Tina and Rosie are my special girls. Although I love them all these 3 have something about them. I rescued Mabel off the side of a road and Tina and Rosie are ex batts. All suffered at the bottom of the pecking order and I used to help them get food and they always knew to run behind me when the bullies went after them. They follow me all over and every time I walk around the field they follow me thinking we are going about together and expect a treat every time I stop. They don't let Roger the cockerel mate them, I think it's because they seem to see me as their cockerel.

Don't be embarrassed of a name. I once had a rooster named Peachie how bad is that.

I bought him thinking he was a pullet.

I love your shadow. If you get tired of her send her to me.

I hope Rosie feels better real soon. So you took her home with you to nurse her back to health? I hope they don't mind to much.

Rosie is way better this morning. She's eating lots too! Was going to take her back to the hens bit decided to keep her another day just to give her crop a break as it's just shifted its impaction. I'm hoping there is still nothing underlying but it's a good sign that she's improved and not got worse. Here she is enjoying a dippy egg for her lunch

Well Rosie looks much better. You caught her with egg on her face. That's a cute pic and Josie is gorgeous. I love her markings. Thanks so much for the update and the gorgeous pics.
