Chanel seems to be back in lay today as when I was cleaning the babies shed out today I noticed these under the nest box dividers (I put them down as coco kept getting in the nest box on a night and the babies couldn't get up).

Just been to shut the ducklings in and this caught my eye! Someone's been sneaky!

Wow Lacey is a protective mom. She knows everybody wants a little Lacey duck.

They are cute I would love to hold them all if Lacey would let me.

Josie's babies are cute too. Thats going to be a surprise what they turn out to look like. Maybe little bowling pins with chubby cheeks.

It's hard to keep up with all those nests I know and they are very determined to have more babies. It's like an Easter egg hunt everyday.

Happy Birthday Lacey duck! In only a year she has sat on two lots of eggs and is a mother to her own babies now!

Love the little runt baby, look how small she (I hope as I've already got a name in mind ) is!

It's so sweet how Coco and Chanel will let Lacey's babies join them whilst Lacey chases Josie and her babies away. 3 Mams is better than one I guess! Would like to see anything try get them! The other day I went up and coco was sat on top of all the babies

The pics are amazing as always. It looks like Coco and Chanel have accepted their babies love the water. Of course if they needed help I'm sure they would be right there in the water saving them. Thats sweet that Lacey lets Coco and Chanels babies visit with hers. Well really their her babies maybe she knows that. Lacey never did like Josie did she?

The runt duck is a cutie that's for sure. It's so tiny compared to her brothers and sisters. What did you name her?

Out of all the big ducks Lacey liked Josie the best. They got on quite well at the end before the babies came! And Thank you! Not saying any names till I'm sure of the sex

Lacey had some of her babies and one of coco and chanels babies right out in the field today. They seemed to enjoy their little adventure!

I've just had a stressful end to my night! Just finished work not long ago and went to the hens to shut Josies hutch and make sure Lacey and all her babies were in the big chicken shed. Shut Josies shed and then opened the chicken shed to find Lacey and only two babies there! At first I was like "oh maybes they're in the nest box" but nope, there was no sign. I started calling to them. I could hear something cheeping but didn't know if it was them or not. I started having a look about when the stream just popped into my head! Went right to the top and started walking down whilst calling for them. I eventually could hear them all shouting and found them huddled on a rock! They got frightened when I went to get them do had to grab three and wrap them in my jacket and run and put them in the shed and then run back for the others! So glad they're ok!!

Babies tonight Josies are getting sooner big! Lacey's aren't very big she's just tiny!

I'm so glad you found the babies. I wonder why Lacey left them and come back to the coop.

All of the pics of Lacey she has her mouth open except for the last one when she is with her Dad, Roger. He must have told her to shut her trap and she listened.

The babies are all getting big. I think Josie's are going to look more like runners then call ducks.

I like Lacey's pool with a view. That girl is so spoiled.
