poop feeders

ok so i have baby chicks and they poop in there water and food what should i do?

Raise up the feeder and water to chest level rather than flat on the ground.

If they are roosting on top

I use a paper plate cut a slit into it to make a cone shape and tape it to the top so they can not roost on top of it.

I also raise the feeder with a block of wood so it makes it harder to scratch the food out.

What type of feeder/waterer are you using? I use the type with a small rim for the bird to access, they really can't poop in it.
