Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Here's my blue silver laced orp - named Blizzard.

Due to the 1st real snow of the year, I decided to take some pretty pics of Blizzard.

The flash went off for this pic, so the color is different. You can also see some of the new feathers still growing in. (She's her own sweet time!)

@Geranium
How do your orps look now?

@TheLittleFarm18
Did you get any chicks from your former roo? I know it's not the same, but there's some comfort in having their babies continue on. If you end up in need of orpingtons, feel free to contact me. In spring we hatch a lot of chicks via the local preschools.

@Faraday40 ...I think I did get some roos from my Mr Marty, they are about 7 weeks old (I think)....I'll post pictures and see what their real age is and see if you think roos also

Also the younger ones (month?) I can't tell if their is a Mr Marty in that bunch yet

Your Blue is a very pretty girl. Yes, even we had a pullet named "Big Blue" this summer.
Here was ours just before we sold her:
Big Blue had a massive comb compared to my other orps, but she was big in almost every way possible. She was laying daily eggs at the time we sold her - which was great because when younger we first thought she was male.

4.5 weeks - note the early pink comb/wattles
