how do you drain the pool

very easy I pull the drain, take 5 min.. I have a hydrant on the opposite end, hose it down
and fill it up 20 min max... (bleach and scrub once a week) easy as pie...

this is my ducks au naturel pond. their run and house is beside it, so on nice days, and when I'm home they get to go out on it.
usually, from noon - 3 . I can watch them from my house. they quite enjoy it. as well, there is a stream that runs the entire fence line, they also venture to that and get nice and muddy. it's quite protected in the stream area, and the pond has lots of overhanging trees as well.

edited to add, it's been a few days since they've got to go on the pond, as it was frozen, but, it's melting, so they should get to get back on it soon.
