First egg laid by each of my two mottled d'Uccles back in January, 16g & 20g respectively. They were 19-20 weeks old at the time and have been laying almost daily ever since except for a brief stint of broodiness (already!)
From our buff orpingtons, our very first eggs. The top photo is from a couple of days ago, firsts for our ameraucanas (plus some more from the buffs). We are pretty proud of our girls!
First egg from my Leghorn! She’s 18/19 weeks. It’s tiny! Like a bantam egg. Hopefully they’ll get bigger lol. I saw her lurking in the coop and checked the nest boxes 10 minutes ago to find her egg. Fingers crossed the RSLs lay soon!
