Problem with color of egg

Recently one of my Rhode Island Red hens lays almost a white colored egg instead of brown once in awhile. They are free range and also are fed a good diet. Wondering what the problem might be. They are all eight months old and all very healthy and have been laying regularly since October.

A brown egg is a white egg with brown spray paint. So, it's possible, she skipped the paint process. Another possibility is that she put a heavy bloom on the outside, making it appear more white.
