I know the article is about chickens, but my big girl that has been so cranky is sitting on a nest, plucking her own feathers to feather it, being mean to everyone who gets near her and from what this article says, it's contagious, like women all getting their period at the same time. That explains the sudden rash of insanity that has taken over the other girls, as well. And, why none of them are laying. I'm wondering if I put the new babies in with her in the middle of the night if she might think she hatched them and will take care if them??
