I paid about $5 for the quart I got from GNC and it should last me a good long time. I'd be worried that homemade wouldn't have enough of the good stuff in it (because I just worry like that-about pretty much everything).

I just ordered a gallon of Bragg from Amazon: 16.49 + 0.99 shipping. That's the best price I've seen anywhere, even locally. At my grocery store, it's 5.99 for a quart.
