No.@aart did you make your own feeder similar to how these are made? Can't remember and I can't dig right now.
This is my feeder:

That’s a cool feeder! Thank you @Kiki. I think I’ll try and modify what I have and go from there. If it doesn’t work I’ll swap them out.
No you have them in the right direction, and they should work fine with crumble feed.I have them facing downward. Maybe they should be upwards though.
I have this brand, have no issues with either the feeder or drink cups.Hi all! I have 5&6 week old chicks and switched them over to a bucket feeder with these attached about a week ago. I have it at chest height for our smallest bird. I followed the directions on the package for attaching these to the bucket but it feels like the holes are just so small. Has anyone else had issues with these being too small and their flock having issues?
I’ve kept a bowl out for the littlest one because I haven’t seen her eat out of the new feeder. I think she is now but she’s kind of oblivious to the world. The others have all figured it out and I’ve seen them eating out of it.
I think my concern with the holes being so small is that the gravity component is bringing enough feed down and they just end up with the crumble dust.

I kind thought that's what it might be.a built-in slider port cover.
Yes that’s what it is. To close it up when needed. I think they assume I’ve got treats so they act like they haven’t ate anything. I’ve had a bowl available. I think they’re eating out of the bowl because it’s convenient. I had it because the littlest chick hadn’t ate out of the new container but I saw her today. I think if I remove the bowl that’ll encourage them to eat from the container more?I kind thought that's what it might be.
