I AM VERY IMPATIENT!!!!I keep waiting for the form for the Maine Poultry Connection Junior Grant fund to come out!

Oh, and I am fretting over genetics.
Becuase I want to make a Silver Laced Austrolorp.
But with yellow legs.
And black nails.
A barred rock roo,
Cross a Black Austrolorp hen.
I fret that, because a Austrolorp has black legs,
And a barred rock as yellow,
It may result in something diffrent.
I could use a Sumatra, resulting in a Silver Laced Sumatra.
But what could that do with the comb?
And the egg genes?
A Sl Wyandotte may work.
But then again the comb.

Slate legs are characteristic of australorps. If it had yellow legs it wouldn't be a lorp - people wouldn't be able to distinguish it from a BR.

I would just experiment for a bit and see what you get. OR if you know how the poultry calculator works, you could play with that and then be relatively sure of what you'd get.
