Thank you. Yes but would of loved MORE run space, but I was able to bring in panels and divide off a place for my silkie flock for winter. Might expand come spring, have ducks!

My run is 8X16. I wish it were 16X32.

You will get there lol. I started out prefab, it didn't make it outside before I built my own coop and dog kennel run. Now I have a 10x8 coop and can't even remember how big I had him make the run. This spring I think I'm adding on to both to house my ducks separately.

I love my run, it was fun to design and build and it works well.
I do wish I could have built a framework sturdy enough for a solid roof that would carry a multi foot snow load.

Yes, tho I(at 5'-5") have to duck just a titch to go thru the door.

Why not use the whole area that is fenced in?

However you make your run, make it tall enough to walk in, and covering or better yet, roofing it (or at least part of it) will make it more weather friendly and more predator resistant.

Mine was neither, so we had to make a number of changes to make it work. If I had to do it again I would definitely roof part of it and make it a lot taller so my hubby isn't having to duck all the time.
