Sexing the Brahma breed, (standard size, Light Brahma)

Pics
Hi! This is my first time raising chicks, and I'm really anxious to know if my approx. 9 week old Light Brahma will be a hen or rooster (I can't keep roosters in my neighborhood!)

Any help is appreciated :)

Thank you! That is relieving to hear, and I will keep an eye out if there are any changes, or maybe post new pictures in a few weeks!

Look up saddle feathers - Roos get long pointy feathers around their tails, and by 9 weeks they typically have a definite red tinge to their combs. Hens can get red when upset or when they begin laying, but pullets usually have a pale coloration

Ok thank you! S/he doesn't have much of a comb, but it's actually kind of black on top which I didn't notice before--should I be concerned?

Heres my "boy" ( I sure hope he is one!) He's really throwing me off. He looks pullety via photo but really cockerelish in person. He is 18 weeks and sorta crows. Hens squat for him too but I've never seen him mount . Opinions? He has shiny pointed feathers under his tail feathers.

I can't tell - around 18/20 weeks my pullets got red combs - how long has his been red? I can't really tell in the photo if he has saddle feathers or not...
