I've heard of chicks starting to zip lengthwise and then correcting the pattern. If it doesn't hatch by 2 are you going full on red? Lol.

I know. Much prefer them to do it themselves. Nothing on the other one yet. I think it died just after day 18. I will check it again after this one is out.

Misting duck eggs is actually to help them lose moisture from within (something about the evaporation drawing it out).. if your air cells are on small side, then worry about misting...
