My first ever rooster, silver Duckwing, he randomly died one day. He was kind of mean.

I’m not sure what color she is. My first OEB hen.

Some day in the future I hope to get more and breed show quality ones.

He’s beautiful!
He's a year old and weighs 23 oz, very close to 1.5 pounds. His sisters weight 21 oz. All are ever so slightly below normal (24 and 22 ounces respectively). I'm new to OEGB and do not know how much room for improvement there is in making them smaller. I guess if it was easy them someone would have already done it many years ago.

I'm slowly scrolling my way through all 420 pages of this thread. It's really hard to judge size from the photographs. Smaller is always better, isn't it?

Scratch that. I realized his brother in another pen is two ounces smaller so the smaller one will be the BBR keeper for the next go-round.

I got 7 bantams from RK 2 weeks ago. 6 are oegb. I'm pretty sure of the 6, 4 are cockerels. 😢 Does anyone have barred oegb? I got one. It should be about 3 weeks or a little older (the manager kept them in the back for a week to make sure they were going to make it). It's the smallest of the whole group. I just noticed this afternoon its comb was pink. I've been keeping an eye on it. But, does that automatically make it a cockerel? I'm going to keep them regardless. It just means I have to come up with a different plan.
