I got some crosses from silkies and game.
Is very interesting how genetics play different rolls in these crosses
You'll get some toping head, feather legs, regular feather, five toes and dark skin.
Not all the offprings will show all these features
I already got some crosses that they dont have so much appearance like a silky they look like regular chickens
But they have dark skin
These were my silkie/BCM mixes. Not a great photo. My computer crashed and lost a lot of good pictures. I no longer have these. A guy wanted them for his daughter. They looked like a chipmunk as babies, some had 5 toes some 4.
I have the disease....darn Silkies.
Here are my Silkie X's
Jaquelin (3/4 Silkie 1/4 OEG)
The only pure bred Silkie out of the hatch, she is still nameless. Jaquelin on the left.
Speedy. Still not sure what this one is...I know it's part Silkie...pretty sure this one is also OEG and Silkie like Jaquelin. Thinking Roo too...
Nameless slightly crazy Ameracauna Silkie
Penelope (She looks just like the Ameracauna I rescued with the crooked beak when she was born...except her beak didn't get crooked until 3 weeks old...it hasn't gotten worse...and she's the biggest of them all...so it's a good sign. I named her Penelope because part of me felt like my little lady love came back to me....)
