Silkie roo?

So I've had this chicken for around 2 months now. It's owner told me how often it would go broody. But now it's crowing? But my roo still tries to mate with it. I'm 99% sure it's a roo, and if it is then I can get rid of my mean rooster. Thanks for the help!

Sometimes males will mount another male to show dominance, not to mate. My naked neck is one of the biggest offenders of this.
