It seems lots of people have put their coops up on here, so I thought I would too.
Coop:
Producer's Pride Coop from TSC that has a 6 chicken capacity, and I use straw for the in-coop bedding and pine shavings for the run bedding.
I got all my stuff from TSC and I think it's a really good place to buy stuff to start out with chickens!
Food used:
Crumble food from TSC
Feeder and waterer:
We actually made both of them!
The water is a PVC pipe with a cup attached to it
The feeder is a bucket with little holes to the inside.
Chickens:
Peanut - Buff bearded silkie, has no brain whatsoever, nicknamed "Fluff Head" or "Dummy" or "Nut Nut"
Marshmallow Fluff - White non-bearded silkie, skittish but loves you, his nickname is "Floof".
Butterscotch - Easter egger, one of the new chicks! Very pretty partridge pattern. Nickname "Butter baby"
Jellybean - Easter egger, one of the new chicks! Believe she is a spotted ee. Nickaname "Quail" (She looks like a quail lol)
Peppermint - Easter egger, one of the new chicks! Pretty white and gray chick. Nickname "Peppy"
Losses:
Boba - Black showgirl silkie, super sweet, aka "Bobs" (May 2023 - August 2023 [Died from raccoon])
Cookie - Gray non-bearded showgirl silkie, aka "Spiky Boy" (May 2023 - January 2024 [Gave him away due to aggression])
