I don't know if anyone really has any hens laying this time of year, I know I don't.

I have one silkied and one split laying now. Have a total of 3 silkied and 3 split so the rest should start laying anytime. Just hope they lay as cold as it is here. But excited to fine two different colors of blue on the same day.

Mine are starting for the season - all but 1 only a split tho. But.... They are mostly Choc/mauve project...and a pair of lav splits...and of course BBS. I do have untested pairs at POL available from last year if anyone would be interested. Males could be split to choc/mauve. Both sexes most likely splits but can't guarantee of course from split to split breedings that did produce a decent number of silkied. Just had a bad string of luck with moving, preditors and extreme temps or I'd have a lot more silkied to work with. Not a project for the feint of heart that's for sure!
