Silver laced Polish experts…what do you think?

Cockerel. Bearded polishes have none or very little wattles, due to the beard. They usually don't have very big combs, too. The easiest way to sex them is to watch at the saddle feathers, the hackles and at the crest. In males these feathers are long and pointy, in females they are shorter and round. The shape of these feathers, so, determines the shape of the crest. In females it's pretty round and compact, in males looks like messy hair (sorry, I don't know how to descrive it in another way lol)

Now I’m curious, what do you guys think about this one? I bought her from TSC as a pullet on June 18. She hasn’t laid eggs or crowed at all yet, so I’m not sure.

I think this is a pullet if she is 6 months old. The saddle feathers were obvious on our silver laced polish rooster after 3 months and his comb and wattles are much more red then yours. The crest feathers on yours are a little unkempt for a pullet but it doesnt look quite as rockstar like as my rooster. I’ve attached photos of my rooster at 3 and 4 months old.

What a relief! I saw the pointed feathers in her crest and kind of panicked lol. For some reaon I thought she was older than 6 months. She and her sister are my first Polish, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Thank you everyone!
