We’re not planning to. It has been a fun and informative process. We are going to give everyone another month and then probably sharpen our knives. We don’t have room for a collection of mutts and they should be a good age for freezer camp. Nothing is written is stone and we will see how things go. We will probably keep one rooster from the set as insurance. I don’t think it will be a hybrid because everything I’ve read suggests I should stick to a single breed. It’s kind of crazy when I looked at the genetics potential at kippenjungle.nl and realized the possibly outcomes are extremely varied from him. It makes me realize how easy it would be to go off the deep end! Breeding him back to a SLW could produce white, black, silver, gold…laced, partially laced, solid… geeze!!I'm loving this thread so far! Are you considering keeping the white rooster? (White Leghorn x silver laced Wyandotte.)
