It's not coffee but it is a close second to survival in the cold north woods....

I was outside long enough and it was cold enough I am frozen to the core, so I made my first hot cocoa and Yukon Jack of the season...


Yukon Jack is a peppermint Schnapps with just a touch of cinnamon in it...

A true northern winter tummy warmer! Just as bitter here now but we had a really pretty gentle, fluffy snow ahead of the arctic blast.

Our low was 37 yesterday and the high was in the low 50s. This is too cold for many in Davis, CA where I work. I say one Lady Shivering and walking like it was 20 below...Wearing several layers too. It was sad to see.
 
cool here also 38 according but some harsh winds this morning
coming from the north in the meantime puts eggs in hova bator
11/10 last night 8 of 12 emerged
