you know, i'm usually "anti-kill", right?...
well NOT tonight
and this is why
yes, it's dead! I ALMOST didn't kill the thing!
I had been working on my new duck house almost all day, then we had to take out neighbor something, so as it's getting dark, I open toe chick room door to see them all huddled in the corner, wich usually they're running around playing, waiting to be fed, as I get ready to leave I see this "thing" in amongst the feed bags, and freeze.
I go inside and get a flashlight, when i look amongst the bags again, "it" is gone
thats when I see THIS in the chickroom eyeing up another couple chicks
(cats for size referance LOL)
I promptly grab the rake, and sense theres little room in there, I scoop it out, still alive, and throw it on the ground, it just coils up, obviously full on a couple chicks(one of the white ones, and a buttercup chick gone
),
these pics shows how long it is compared to me

P&P rules :
** please do not gloat or suggest torturous ways of killing for pleasure or indeed, post in such a way that your predator control can be construed as pleasure killing instead of simply taking care of a problem. **
