I reccommend several strands of hot wire to be turned on at night. Once the coons or opossums get zapped once they will respect the sound of the fence. Otherwise they will dig, pry, climb and do whatever it takes to get in. I have not lost any geese since I wired the coop over a year ago. Best of luck sorry for your loss.
