SPECKLED SUSSEX Her weight hasn't changed. SHE'LL BE 4 MONTHS ON 26TH OF SEPT 2015

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
SHE WAS FINE LIKE 2 HOURS AGO. NOW IT'S ALMOST LIKE HER NECK WILL EXTEND BUT NOT GO BACK. SHE'S EATING RUNNING AROUND ETC.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
2 HOURS

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
NO

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
NO

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
ROOSTER WAS SHOWING INTEREST IN HER.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
NORMAL FOOD, WATER

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
NORMAL

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
NOTHING DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I'D LIKE TO TREAT HER MYSELF IF POSSIBLE

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
HAY

She may have wry neck or torticolis, which is a neurological symptom of an injury, vitamin E and selenium deficiency, and sometimes caused by certain diseases. Separate her from the rooster, and give her some Poultry Nutri-drench 3 ml by mouth each day. Those contain poultry vitamins plus selenium. If her neck shows signs of being limp or paralyzed, then post back here,, since that could be botulism or Mareks disease.

I have her inside now in tote with hay bedding. I've got her on electrolytes and pro-biotic until my hubby gets home with the Nutri-Drench. I've gotten her to eat and drink. Her tote is covered with a towel to keep it as quiet as possible for her.. Her head is pretty much upside down now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed..
