Soo approx. how many quail can i fit in a cage?

For $30 bucks my friend sold me a 10ft by 2 ft cage system (it's a hanging wire cage with 6 "holes"). I have it ziptied to my fence it's pretty light weight, and i'll be patching up some holes that were cut into it for rabbit feeders and water bottles, and it will be for me to selectively breed my coturnix and buttons (mostly my coturnix).

Just curious how many coturnix would be reasonable to fit in a 20 1/2" by 2ft "hole"? I'm guessing three, but im curious if i could fit a 4th or even a 5th without them being "crowded".

The cages on the left i'd say 2 coturnixs maybe 3 and the cage on the right i'd say 4 maybe 5

quails will fight if there crouded

I want to have (perferably) 1 male and 2 females per cage atleast so you assuming possbly 3 per cage is about ideal for me...though ofcourse im greedy and wish i could put more ...
