1st...quail babies....I MUST hatch some...toooooo cuuute!

I had my 1st 2 blue egg day today!!

Unfortunatly I also confirmed my EE is laying a beige egg

Got 4 eggs from the 4 hens in that coop,2 blue,1polkie,and what must be the EE...unless Sylvester is hiding the fact he is a she...hmmmmmmm

well I lost my beautiful Midas, son of Amy's Bo. his roost must have been too high and he was so heavy he broke his leg on landing. Roost are now lower for my girls. hopefully Bo will have a couple nice boys to replace Midas with next spring.. I know, Amy, you dont want me wishing for boys do you.. ahhahahaa... he was so beautiful and will be missed.

I have found that I need two roost for my girls. this is the 3rd rooster I have lost that has left girls of his breed behind....

hope everyones holiday shopping and parties are going good and everyone is stressing out tooo much..

Sorry I've been MIA. First trimester is less than fun. Sad to say That roaming got the best of Midas and he escaped the fence and got hit and killed by a car. DH is devastated and I'm really sad too.
