Speckled sussex pullet or roo?

I agree it's a lot of comb for a pullet of this age, but then again it's not near as red as I'd expect from a cockerel. I'm tentatively saying pullet, but would love to see pics in a few more weeks to see how it turns out!

I will definitely post pics in a few weeks. I sure hope it's a pullet.

She is a pullet. I had a sussex this year whom everyone thought was a too at first. She did have a large comb. But now she is laying and has even gone broody. Your's looks like mine did

I'm leaning towards cockerel. I have three sussex pullets that hatched March/April and they have tiny combs and waddles. This is one of them at 6 months.

Oh, dear. That would leave us with 3 pullets out of 9 chicks. :-(
