Too young to say for sure, but I'm 99% sure it's a cockerel.

He's beautiful!

Just confirming that this *is* in fact a cockerel. I'm only a bit unsure because my GLW pinked up early and had me convinced that she was a he for a month or so.

The chick in question is close to 8wks old.

if you're talking about the last pic, that's a Lavender Orpington boy.

It's BIL's chicken, but that's the only one that hatched, and we had chicks, so he got put in with ours until spring and then BIL gets to decide what to do with him.
