Just looked up when my eggs went under the Broodies. Today is day 25. I got my first pip.

JUST PUT MY 17 EGGS ON LOCKDOWN!!!

Congrats. How did you sex them?

I washed a video in vent sexing that Metzer did. Hit is pretty easy and pretty self explainatory. They said it is best to sex before 3 days old. I just couldn't figure out on of them. I am certain of the boy though. Let me know if you would like a link to the video. I am on my phone and just dont have it this minute.

SIlkie Rooster over a silkie hen and a silkie X hen. The ones in jan only took 19 days to first pip. I guess bieng cold now slows the hatch.
