21 weeks or older was the minimum age of my flock. The average was 24 weeks of age. My wyandotte laid her first egg today and she is 9 months old(36-37 weeks old). They've slowed way down due to winter. I was getting 5-6 eggs a day and now some days I don't get any. I'm averaging 2-3 eggs a day from 8 chickens.
