His color pattern is quite striking. I like how it is almost every other feather.

It is. His sire is the blue Sumatra cock that I have.

I have been working on getting a solid blue Cubalaya and he is one of my efforts in that project, now obviously he is more Sumatra-like in type but I will try to use him with a full sister and potentially a full blooded Cubalaya. We will have to see how things pan out because I still have too many fowl.

The Sebright was an oops

, but not completely unwelcome because of the lacing gene it added.
