I read an article that stated they were originaly imported as fighting roosters and that people would cross breed them to fighting chickens?

they were after the multiple spurs, I believe.

if the two roosters grow up together, you might be ok. but there would be moments, I'm sure

how long does it take for a sumatra roosters tail to fully grow?

Are they Sumatra I was told they were but the pullet is this gold color on her head. They are also very small I got them at ten weeks old and have had them for 4 weeks now. They are very flighty.

They are mixed breed. Sparsely feathered shanks, whitish earlobes, body type, and the type of comb give away that they are not sumatra. Sumatra should have a pea comb, dark to black face and legs with yellow feet bottoms. No feathers on the shanks and the ear lobes are dark to red but not white. Good luck with your new birds.

Here's a picture of my baby, Cas. She's a pure bred Black Sumatra, about a week old. I got her after I lost my roo and she's my little angel.
