Songster
Hello chickeners . . . .
Returned from the north country about noon. I expected to find one dead CLB in the kennel by the back door. But nope! There she was - waiting for me. She communicates by purring. So I brought her in last Friday and gave her water and some fermented feed and said see ya on Sunday - maybe. There she was - the water was down but not the food. I cleaned up the kennel, gave her clean water and then filled a small container with feed, worms and some grit and sunflower seeds. She ate for an hour. Now she is doing her convulsing thing - AGAIN! Ugh! She is not showable. She definitely has something wrong. I will hang in and keep trying to find out what it is but eventually this is not going to work out anymore. Even if she starts to put on some weight I will be happy. Anything for encouragement. She is in the house, in the kennel, alone so very little stress. She was never with a flock at her previous home or here. She is just off in a corner by herself. I wonder what to do.
