What's sl mean? Silver laced?

A SL has a muted red gene that s expressed as either a lt orange or yellow.
I have 4 SL hens.

Ima give hex a run at one of my jubilee orp hens when the time is right and see what may conder up between the breeds just for the heck of it.

They are SFH it's a genetic thing with the muted gene. The hens would normally be Mille fluers but the red is muted. Sorry I don't have any pics if my milles right now.

No he's not a cross. He is pure...it's kind of hard in the pics to tell but his legs are actually a really light flesh color, almost white but not quite.

I thought they we're suppose to be yellow?

From what I've heard...though I don't know for sure...yellow are the most desired, flesh are acceptable and white are not. I don't really care either way. I'm not selling them and if I do breed it would just be for my flock and a couple neighbors.
