We had a blue jersey giant rooster that we showed for 2 years. He was 29 inches tall. I had to have a special cage built for him to travel in. Hes gone now as he was killed by a dog but hes was the biggest bird I have ever seen

Indian giant I believe is one of the big ones.
Brazil or Argentina I think are one of the main countries that breed those monsters.

in australia they may be different but my malay boys range from 80-90cm tall and 4-7kg

I've got some alright malay, but nothing three foot tall. I would really like to see a 3 foot chicken. The little guy below is all legs at 3.5 months.



Pic don't do him justice. Below is a yardstick I'm holding against his leg. Over 15inches from top of drumstick to tip of toe. Leg is still bent. Hard to hold bird, yardstick and take pic at same time.

Originally Malays were the taller breed, but using the Malays other breeds have been created. Like the Australian Game, it was bred off the Mighty Malay Game!
