tallest rooster

This is a tough one. Oriental games achieve much of their height through their upright stance which varies considerably depending on what the bird is doing and its surroundings. The more alert the bird is, the more erect it will stand, and the taller it will become. This stance is completely natural for these birds but some people might consider it a "weird stretched position". While they are quite tall, they only maintain this stance part of the time.

I saw some at the Langshan meet this spring in York. Those birds were huge!

I am in the process of doing a Giant Fowl Project & calling them Ostrich Fowl!

Two of the breeds that will be using to make this Giant Fowl is Saipan "Jungle Fowl" & Langshans .
