Gillespie County Fair (Fredericksburg) - 8/23-8/26/07
Fayette County Fair (LaGrange) - 8/30-9/2/07
Comal County Fair (New Braunfels) - 9/25-9/30/07

The Comal County Fair is great for families. Your birds don't have to be purebred. They just want you to have fun. I got third for a mixed breed frizzle cockerel one year.

carla, if i was to pick one, which would be the best one to go to?? i just can't afford the gas bill right now to be able to go to all three.

I haven't been to the one in LaGrange, so I can't really comment on it.

The Fredericksburg one is pretty far for you to go.

New Braunfels had a lot of birds and the organizers were very nice when I went. I worked there one year in the baby chick exhibit. There is also a lot to do at the New Braunfels one, so my recommendation would be the Comal County Fair.

There is another show College Station the first Saturday in January but I don't have any details at this time.
