Ok. So I did a thing... I’m kiiiiiiiind of attached to the marans I helped hatch. So I took the shell and sent it for gender testing.




Figured I probably needed to stop carrying it around in my pocket if it’s a boy. Results should be in today!

I have read that others have sent eggs shells out for testing, as well. Who does the testing? I have a couple that I would like to know the gender of sooner, rather than later.

I found www.IQBirdTesting.com. They can do egg shell, feather or blood. It’s 11.95 per sample.

Did you end up giving it vitamins? Or did it recover on it's own?

I gave it some raw egg yolk and water and a few hours later my wife called me and told me it was up moving around
