The wafer has probably failed. Time for an ST1000 right OZ?
Please tell me about the wafer...what it does, can it be replaced, etc...I'll look up an ST1000. Not familiar with that.

Non digital incubators use and oil filled wafer that adjusts the heat by expansion. It has been around for ever and is fairly reliable. They do fail though and you can get a replacement.
The ST1000 replaced it with digital technology and is much more stable.
