Hi, i just hatched 3 RD and 1 has curled feet. Can i do anything to help this chick?
and my 2nd Q is how do i tell the cockrel from the pullet? Ifi i remember right, the cockrell has a darker feathers on top his head? and the pullet has more Salmon colored feathers? is this correct?

And typically people use braces for curled toes. I'm driving at the moment or I'd try to find an article. But you should be able to Google "curled toes brace for chicks" and should get something helpful.

her legs keep splaing out also. should i tape them at hip width? so they dont go out?

Get a pic of your babies next to each other and I (or others) will be able to tell you which ones are boys or girls.

I think she is a she. she is walking much better in just having the hobbles and shoes on for 12 hours.
how long do you think i should keep them on? I will ck w/t site you gave me...
