The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

I have hatched emvickrey's Silkie eggs twice now and had amazing hatch rates!
I hatched out several this summer myself and had great hatch rates as long as I used a broody. I had very little luck with the incubator. I had humidity issues all summer. We had an unusually not so hot summer along with rain that was unlike most other summers. It's usually very hot and dry during summer. If I wasn't done hatching I would still be putting eggs under broody's since It seems I have several very determined hens.

Auction 1. 6 SQ Splash Silkie eggs Bid starting at $10 and shipping is $13. Auction ends saturday at midnight. They will ship on Monday

The roo is from Bobbi Porto stock and I've shown him several times. He has won 1st in BV in all but 1 show and he got 2nd in that one. I also have a hen that I showed when she was a pullet and she also got 1st in BV.

Auction 2 6+ sizzle eggs. Bidding starts at $10 with shipping at $13. If both auctions are won by the same person the shipping will be $15. for both. Auctions end at midnight on saturday and they will be shipped on Monday.
I recently changed roos from a white silkie to a porcelain that just won 1st in BV in his first show. The porcelain roo has been with the hens for 11 days. They just started back laying and I don't know which hens are laying. I have 2 white sizzles a blue sizzle and 2 frizzled silkie partridge and I know one of those is not laying. She is still broody. In my second sizzle pen I have a partridge frizzled silkie roo with a blue hen. I have hatched a few chicks of theirs and I got a couple black chicks and one that is a shade darker than lavender.

above is the current roo

This hen has been shown and won 2nd in BV

This hen was shown and got 1st in BV

above is the previous roo
Below are the 2 in the second sizzle pen. The roo won 2nd in BV

This is the hen when she was a pullet. I really need to get a recent pic. She had a broken beak and spent the winter inside, well in the carport room.

I have 18+ Cream Crested legbars that can go Monday..getting 5+ a day now...Im done hatching for the season...hatch rates at home are about 90-95% and I get about 65-70% pullets...I am NOT guaranteeing anything once they leave my house...same shpeel we hear all the time with shipping and buying at your own risk..

AWESOME!!! I was just popping on to pm you to see how things were going!! I was petrified shipping all the way across the US to you in that heat! Lol phew:) good luck hope it was mostly roos that didnt develope! Haha

I think I sent 25-26? This week to one person. The girls were blessing me this past week...the last 2 days ..0! I have 7 more girls growing out right now...Cant wait to have a big beautiful bunch of them laying:)

Just had a 50% incubator hatch of my own eggs... including 2 sizzle grandbabies of emvickery hens, with about 6+ more to hatch out in a week and 1 that hatched a month ago during a heat wave - all colors of special fluffiness... I'll leave the remaining eggs a couple more days, just in case. I think central air takes too much humidity out of the air, it's hard to keep it regulated in a styro bator.

I've had issues with humidity also and we have a window airconditioner. I always to my incubation and hatching in the room it is in and had much better hatch rates in the past years. Something about the weather this year. I had 2 good hatches with the hovobator. The hens had better luck than I did this year.
