I know when we had them it wasn't long before we had 10 or so but Susie worked at the pet store and always people wanting to buy them.

I was surprised what a parakeet sells for in the pet stores. We checked 2 stores and they were selling between $44 and $46 each. Sticker shock...DH laughed at me expected them to be going for 1990 prices
