I own two Rhodebar hens. Love them. They are not quite at POL yet, but I know I want more of these lovely birds.

Who on this site raises pure Rhodebars? Difficult to find current information.

Cress,did you want hatching eggs or chicks? I just moved my flock and they quit laying but should start again soon. I can ship anywhere in the US

I would need hatching eggs as I am in Utah. I got my first 3 from a breeder in Pennsylvania!
Can you tell me a little about your stock and pictures? I am new to this breed. I know some
people cross with Rhode Island Red. Where did you original stock come from.

I have gff stock and can mail hatching eggs in a couple weeks

Do you find them to be easy to raise? Good layers? Nice temperments? Even the roosters?
Have you added Rhode Island Red to the mix, like I read so many breeders do?

The birds are gff and very friendly,I have 2 roosters and 6 hens and one heritage Rhode Island red pullet. I can text pics

We just brought them home. They had a 45 minute ride in 90° weather. The light was fading so I went ahead and took the pic as soon as we got them into quarantine. They stopped singing shortly thereafter.

They are supposed to be GFF lines. I was wondering if they are anywhere near SOP.
