Me too, I started lockdown on day 20.5 because half the eggs were losing weight really slowly. I'm hoping they've lost enough now! We'll see what happens

Two RIR sultan mixes have hatched but one sultan chick is almost out. One RIR baby has five toes and feathered feet while the other one only has feathered feet.

Oh, I didn't realize it was hatching eggs you got!  I thought you had day old chicks coming for some reason!!!  How awesome!  Where did your eggs come from, Jharper?

I actually got them from my own sultans I had a hen and a rooster.

What a combo!! They look like Sultans there?? Sultans must have a lot of dominating genes! Did you get any pure eggs? Or did something happen to your hen? They look so cute there! Wonder if they'll be good layers?

I have one pure sultan hatched out and another one on its way. I put my sultan rooster with all my laying hens for about two days and I got their eggs and placed them in the incubator with the sultan, and my silkie's eggs. So I have RIR, white leghorn, white silkie, and pure sultan eggs that are hatching out.
